Dogster brought us this article on Friday and I thought it was just bizarre! At first I thought this might just be a joke, but apparently this Australian man was serious about the commitment to his dog. Joseph Guiso, 20, decided that after 5 years of living with Honey, his yellow lab, it was time to make an honest dog out of her. He told the Daily Mail “he could no longer stand the guilt of living with the canine cutie out of wedlock.” The Mail also reports that Guiso is a self-described “religious guy,” and that he said their relationship is strictly platonic.
He shared this ceremony with 30 of his friends and held Honey's paw while saying his vows. Wondering what his vows were? Here is a line...“You’re my best friend and you make every part of my day better.”
Now Guiso and his new bride are making headlines and he is worried that all the attention might make it a bit hard to find a teaching job after he is finished with the university.
